Allow me to brag for a sec

Hey there, YOU!

It’s Thursday so of course, I’m sitting in my cozy home office emailing you. Thanks for receiving my words in your inbox, btw. I love writing to you and hope to get to know you and you business journey better this year!

And speaking of journey ... I want to just brag for a second about why I LOVE coaching women business owners and creatives.

NO. 1 -- First and foremost, I LOVE working with like-minded women like you, Reader!

Since I am a boutique kind-of-coach rather than an at-scale coach, I truly get to know each and everyone of my clients -- including their families, hobbies, quirks, dreams, beliefs, values -- all of it.

I recall a client saying to me on her first session that she was so surprised I wanted to know about HER.

Boilerplate advice won't cut it for most businesses these days. I coach human beings.

Don't just take my word for it ... here's what a 2024 client had to say!

"Shawn really took the time to see me and understand my business. This was critical because I am B2B and I work in a niche area. There was never a minute wasted with Shawn because I knew she was giving me advice tailored to my work style and business needs." -- Mia Henry, Founder of Freedom Lifted.

NO. 2 -- Second, I LOVE challenging women to step into their power and brilliance.

I'm not kidding. Every client I work with is brilliant -- and often just needs a sounding board (that's me, the sounding board) to start to articulate and get clarity around how they serve in their highest possible way. Left to our own accord -- and I am counting myself into this -- we get lost and can't see the forest through the trees, as they say.

I just absolutely LOVE that I can help shape your thought leadership and visibility to FINALLY get more known for what you are so good at in this world.

Again, though ... my clients feel this synergy as well.

"As a creative, my brain is in constant flight. Always searching for the next new, shiny idea. As a coach, Shawn has a masterful way of reining me in—distilling the most complex idea down to something concrete, eloquent, and marketable." -- Lauren Knatz, author and consultant.

NO. 3 -- Finally, and my list could go on and on but I'll stop here today ... I LOVE sharing insider industry secrets that I've come to know after 13 years of full-time coaching, online creating and consulting.

There is a lot of noise and hype out there luring you into big ticket promises or small impact busywork that may or may not work for your business. I don't believe in hype. Nor do I believe in big ticket promises. And I very much do not believe in small impact busywork.

I love taking busyness off my clients' plates so they can make an impact and experience ease.

"There were days that I needed someone to talk to, who was objective and had the experience of starting a business. Shawn was that person. She listened and gave good advice. She walked me through some of the process of starting a business and kept me on task. She challenged me with questions and homework, to keep the momentum going in the months before I started my business." -- Diana Watson, Founder of Diana Watson Media.

Thank you for allowing me to brag about my LOVES in this work that I've been doing for so long. We ALL need to brag more so let it begin with me. :)

And, if you are intereted, let's work together to take YOU and your business to the next level. Book a business coaching exploratory call with me HERE.

Yours in the Trenches,

SHAWN
